It’s back! Yes, due to popular demand, we are proud to announce the return of our inside scoop with the iconic Dancing on Ice institution that is Andi Peters!
Our Exclusive show host and roving rinkside reporter will be bringing us all the latest ice-tastic gossip from behind the scenes of the glitziest show on earth.
So without further ado, let’s kick start the week with some revelatory gossip about Andi’s latest ice skating exploits …
“Since my return to the ice (which you saw on the Exclusive show last week) I have had some more lessons with Karen, and I have a skating partner, who we can’t reveal yet,” he tells us.
Hang on a minute – Andi plus a skating partner … that must mean only one thing … a routine!
“Yes, at the end of the series I will have to skate – you will see me do a brand new routine!” he reveals.
“And if it’s good enough, Torvill & Dean have said it will be in the Dancing on Ice Tour, so I’m very excited.”
For all of you who have been on a totally different planet for the past five weeks, Andi will be hosting Torvill & Dean’s Dancing on Ice Tour, which will transport the show to rinks nationwide.
“Yesterday I recorded the voice-over for the television commercial for The Tour, so it’s all getting quite exciting,” he says. “The Tour is going to be amazing – the cast is great.
“I’m quite close to some of the skaters, and we’re like a family, so going out on the road with them is going to be great.
“But Duncan keeps saying, ‘What goes on tour stays on tour …’ which I think is hilarious!
“Heaven knows what Blue got up to, but now I’m quite intrigued!”
Crikey, so are we! Is there anything else we should know before we let our host with the most head back to gather yet more gossip?
“I’m learning Russian at the moment, to be able to communicate with Andrei, Clare’s partner,” Andi adds.
“He speaks very good English but I want to learn Russian. So that’s my mission this week!”
