Lee to be in Hell's Kitchen

SEXY Adele Silva is set to sizzle in reality show Hell’s Kitchen.

The ex-Emmerdale babe, 26, has been signed up to add a splash of sauce to the ITV cooking contest.

She joins nine other celebrity contestants including singer Lee Ryan and comic Jim Davidson.

Adele — the soap’s Kelly Windsor — will be put through her paces by fiery chef Marco Pierre White when the third series kicks off on Monday.

Hate de voir ce que ça donne Lee dans une cuisine, je me demande si les plats vont arriver entiers à la fin vu son incontrolable envie de gouter à tout ... Pas sur qu'il patiente bien longtemps

'Kitchen' chefs rated on egg dishes

The Hell's Kitchen celebrities had mixed fortunes when they were instructed to prepare a meal using eggs in just ten minutes.

Head chef Marco Pierre White warned the contestants that he would be using the egg dishes to make his first judgements about their personalities.

"The first thing I want you to do is something very simple. Before I can position you I need to know what you're up to, so I want you all to cook me an egg dish. Your choice; omelette, scrambled, poached, fried. You've got 10 minutes," Marco explained. "By the way you cook an egg I'll know who you are and what you are, trust me."

Big Brother 2 winner and TV presenter Brian Dowling failed to impress Marco with his attempt at making an omelette, which the chef compared to a pancake. He later complained about former Emmerdale actress Adele Silva's scrambled egg dish, but ex-Blue singer Lee Ryan received praise for his poached eggs.

Model Abbey Clancy was the most embarrassed when Marco pointed out that there were pieces of shell in her fried eggs.

"Look at the base of the egg. Do you like a bit of crunch with your egg?" Marco asked, before quipping: "Are you a member of Densa?"

Speaking later in the confessional, Abbey admitted: "I wanted to cry then, because I was shocked and he was picking on me."

Hell's Kitchen airs at 9.00pm tonight on ITV1.

++ Lee can't stand the heat
EX-BLUE star Lee Ryan has been booted off ITV reality show Hell’s Kitchen after a row with Marco Pierre White.

An ITV1 spokeswoman told TV Biz: “Lee had a row with Marco this afternooon and walked out of the kitchen. When he came back Marco told him he wasn't part of the team and told him to go."

The boy band star, 24, had already been feeling the heat earlier by walking out of the kitchen when he refused to kill a langoustine by twisting its head off.

He said: “I ain’t killing anything.”

Since the start of the show on Monday, Lee has moaned about repeatedly cutting his fingers while chopping vegetables and he also refused to wear his chef’s hat.

He is the first celeb to walk since the initial series in 2004 when ex-Corrie actress Amanda Barrie quit ater rowing with Gordon Ramsay.

Lee Ryan has quit Hell's Kitchen after a heated row with Marco Pierre White.

It is not known what prompted the quarrel or how long it lasted, but the former Blue singer left the kitchen to cool down once it had subsided. When he returned to the kitchen, White told him that he was no longer part of the team, prompting Ryan to quit the show.

Earlier today* Ryan admitted that he was struggling with life on the ITV1 reality show, saying: "This isn't my job - it's a TV programme. It's okay but I am not 100% enjoying it."

ITV had planned to ask viewers to vote for their favourite celebrity chef on tonight's episode of the show, but is unknown whether the vote will now go ahead.

Nine celebrity chefs now remain on Hell's Kitchen, which continues tonight at 9pm on ITV1.

*Lee Ryan not enjoying 'Hell's Kitchen'

Lee Ryan has admitted that Hell's Kitchen has not been an enjoyable experience so far.

The former Blue singer refused to wear his chef's hat and complained about having to chop vegetables yesterday.

"I won't wear [a hat] - I am not following regulations," Lee told his fellow contestant Brian Dowling. "[The sous chefs] don't wear a hat."

Speaking to sous chef Tim, he then complained: "If I cut my finger any more I'll be screwing. I play piano and guitar - I'm not having my fingers f***ed."

Later, Lee let off steam in the confessional, admitting that the show had not yet met his expectations.

"This isn't my job, it's a TV programme. It's okay but I am not 100% enjoying it," he explained. "The best bit of my day is when people leave me the f*** alone. My job is to shut up and get on with it and hopefully not lose my temper."
