THERE’S nothing better than celebs blowing their own trumpets.
Despite only appearing in one film, Blue singer Lee Ryan says he
could star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, 35, in a Hollywood blockbuster. At the
premiere of new Brit flick The Heavy in London’s Leicester Square, Lee,
26, told us: “Hollywood’s definitely an option.
“I’d drop everything to head out there.” The boyband
warbler’s acting ambitions are sky high and he would like to star in a
remake of cult weepy The Notebook.
He added: “Kate Beckinsale would be my ideal leading lady, she’s gorgeous.
“The Notebook would be my dream job.
“And Leonardo DiCaprio is my favourite actor of all time. Working with him would be ace.”
It seems that Lee is already trying to live like an
international movie star, rocking up on the red carpet in a super-flash
TVR motor. But the next James Bond he most certainly ain’t.
He told us: “I was really excited about driving a TVR but I stalled it up the road. How embarrassing.
“I had five buses coming towards me and I panicked.
“I was just like: ‘Oh no, I’m working the TVR and I just stalled it.’ No-one wants to see that. I’m such a plonker!”
Despite his lack of motoring skills, Lee – who stars
alongside Vinnie Jones, 45, and Sadie Frost, 44, in The Heavy – has
already secured another part alongside two Hollywood big guns.
He told us: “I’ve been offered a few film roles.
“I’ve got a film called Timeless coming out.
“I’ve heard Kevin Spacey might be joining it but don’t say anything. I wasn’t meant to say that.
“I know Sienna Miller is attached to it – very hot. It’s going to be fantastic.”
Fair play, mate.
