15 January 2008 - Ex Dancing on Ice contestant reveals what the judges really think.

TV presenter and former Blue singer Duncan James has got the inside scoop on what's going on in Dancing on Ice. Duncan is revealing all in a blog for The Sun.

Duncan told The Sun that Jason and Ruthie "think the standard is very high, much higher than last year at this stage. Jason was saying that everyone is impressed with the skaters technically, but that means the weaker contestants will go quickly."

Duncan thinks "we'll see the real contenders standing out very soon."

Duncan worked with new judge Ruthie Henshall last month on the Tenth Anniversary of the musical Chigago in London.
He said:
"It was so lovely to see Ruthie Henshall on the panel."
"She really is the most incredible performer and I think she brings something else to the panel, another dimension. She can talk with authority about the performance side of things, and offer some fantastic advice to everyone."

Duncan was glad to see Jason Gardiner too. He wrote in his blog for The Sun:
"It was also great to see Jason back in the centre of the judging panel where he belongs. Nice to see the polo necks have gone as well and he's working a different look! Jason obviously hasn't learnt to bite his tongue yet, as he had some cutting remarks for Greg and Aggie. I laughed out loud when he said that it looked like Aggie's partner was dragging round an OAP. Hilarious."
